Fundación Ortega y Gasset has been teaching Spanish to foreign students for 23 years now. Our personalized program allows a one on one contact with the teacher, which makes the learning process easier. Our privileged downtown location is ideal for both students and professionals to live the greatest experience.
Lessons are given from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm (to be agreed). Under this intensive method, we suggest at least a 1- or 2-week course (approx. 20 hours a week), and later, to think about adding more promotional packages, if you wish to continue learning Spanish.
The one-week, 20-hour intensive course costs USD270 There’s no registration fee.
You can pay for courses cash in US dollars, or in Argentine pesos (cash, Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards) at the exchange rate on the day of the transaction, as regulated by the Central Bank. **Payments with Visa or Mastercard credit cards have a 10% surcharge. ***For more information, please contact the Fundacion. Students shall present their identity card or passport, and a photocopy of said document, and they shall fill in the enrollment form.
FOGA shall issue a certification for all those students who have completed the intensive course (20 hours a week).
What are intensive courses like? They are private lessons, one on one, with a specialized Spanish teacher. When are the courses held? Courses are given from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. They run over 20 (twenty) hours a week, and they can last 1 (one) week, 2 (two) weeks, or more. What levels do you offer? You can enroll in up to 6 (six) levels corresponding to those described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Are teachers native speakers? Yes, teachers are Spanish native speakers and they can also speak other foreign languages. Moreover, they have been especially trained in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and they are very experienced teachers. Should I know any Spanish in advance? No, it’s not necessary for you to know any Spanish in advance. I have some previous knowledge of Spanish. How can I decide what level to enroll in? If you have some previous knowledge of Spanish, complete the level test that will allow us to assign you to the appropriate course for your level. Will I get a certification when I finish the course? Yes, once the course has been completed, Fundación Ortega y Gasset Argentina shall issue a certification in your name. What do I need to do to enroll in the course?
